- This training covers fundamental human performance principles and tools. It equips leaders with basic resources needed to be proactive in reducing/eliminating human errors in the workplace.
- Students will learn why events occur and the roles of staff, leaders, and the organization in producing human errors and human performance events.
- Discuss the concepts of error-likely situations and error precursors
- Learn how to apply selected human performance models during planning, execution, management, and assessment of work performance
- Identify error-reduction tools for use at the job site, identify leadership practices that help align organizational and individual behaviors in order to minimize opportunities for error.
- Identify methods and tools that reveal, demonstrate, and reinforce proper behaviors
