Train The Trainer modular training series is designed to provide you with the new or updated knowledge and skills necessary to effectively present or train.
The 4 hour On-The-Job Training and Evaluation course is designed to help worker trainers and in-field trainers to better apply basic communication and training techniques. Key points include dealing with difficult participants, preparing for the psychological-physical-environmental barriers, preparing a well scripted lesson plan and determining the most reliable and valid evaluation tool or test.
The 3-5 day Trainer's Training course is designed to help participants understand and use the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) process. During this interactive workshop participants will:
1. Learn effective topic-related attention-getters, icebreakers and energizers that engage the most differently motivated students.
2. Understand the ADDIE process (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) in order develop and deliver informative presentations and lesson plans.
3. Understand the evaluation tools used to identify participant weaknesses in subject matter content (prerequisites), measuring comprehension and monitoring individual participant engagement,
4. Develop a working knowledge of classroom management techniques and tips, including issues management (to reduce or eliminate conflict), lesson preparation and setting the stage.
The workshop, depending on the organization's schedule needs and resource constraints, is designed to improve the knowledge and skills of presenters and trainers new to the field or those experienced in the profession.
